The method has the advantages that the foam glass prepared by the aid of the method is high in breaking strength and excellent in performance and has a low heat conductivity coefficient; as shown by test results, the density of the foam glass prepared by the aid of the method is 98-140 kg / m<3>, the normal-temperature heat conductivity coefficient of the foam glass is 0.036-0.045 w / (K.m), the breaking strength of the foam glass is 0.5-3 MPa, and the pore diameters of the foam glass are 0.1-4 mm; the foam glass prepared by the aid of the method is good in compressive strength, has the low heat conductivity coefficient and can be used as a wall heat-insulation material and an industrial cryogenic heat-insulation material.
