Abstract

The invention discloses a digital video image-stabilizing method based on block motion estimation. The method comprises the following steps: firstly taking a first frame of a video sequence as a reference frame to store at a reference buffer zone 1, starting downsampling from the second frame of the video sequence to generate a thumbnail corresponding to an image, storing the image at a referencebuffer zone 0; and then acquiring a local motion parameter through edge detection, and selecting a block with enough texture information for block matching, performing module motion searching, establishing a linear parameter system by using a motion searching result and an adopted similar motion model, and solving the linear parameter system by using an iterative least square method; obtaining anoverall motion parameter by means of motion upward scale and motion iteration method; and finally obtaining a stable sequence by performing motion compensation on the overall motion parameter. The digital video image-stabilizing method disclosed by the invention is fast in processing speed and obvious in correction effect.
