The invention provides a Wi-Fi hotspot deployment optimization method, the method comprises the following steps: acquiring a positioning information of a first mobile terminal and a scanned Wi-Fi hotspot list, wherein the positioning information comprises longitude and latitude of the first mobile terminal; aggregating the Wi-Fi hotspot list in a plurality of business areas; determining a concentration region of Wi-Fi hotspots in the plurality of business areas; calculating a user satisfaction of a first user to the Wi-Fi hotspots in the plurality of business areas; and responding to an operation of selecting a first business area by a second user, screening out a second business area, and according to the Wi-Fi hotspots and the number of the first users in the second business area and a visitors flow rate concentrated area and a Wi-Fi hotspot concentrated area in the first business area, determining the number and the positions of the Wi-Fi hotspots which need to be adjusted for improving the user satisfaction in the first business area. According to the method provided by the invention, an optimization scheme for deployment of the Wi-Fi hotspots in the business areas is providedbased on the distribution conditions and the user satisfaction of the Wi-Fi hotspots in the business areas, and Internet surfing experience of the users is promoted.
