The sanitary electric insect trap comprises: a housing including a receiving space formed therein and an opening formed through a front surface thereof to open the receiving space to the outside; a front cover coupled to the front surface of the housing to cover the opening; and an electric shock plate which is installed in the housing while facing the front cover and through which a high-voltage current flows selectively, wherein the front cover includes: a plurality of frames crossing to each other to form a plurality of through holes; and a plurality of elastic films which are arranged at a rear surface of the front cover to respectively cover the pluralityof through holes, are coupled to the frames at one side thereof to bend toward an inside of the housing due to air flow introduced from the outside to the receiving space and so as to open the throughholes, and are arranged to overlap the frames at at least a part thereof other than the one side.
