Abstract

The invention relates to a sample embedding method and belongs to the technical field of biology. The sample embedding method provided by the invention comprises the following steps: (1) injecting a gelatin solution into a cooled embedding box to fill one part of space of a groove body of the embedding box, wherein each 100mL of the gelatin solution contains 8 to 15g of gelatin; (2) putting a sample to be embedded into the embedding box and then continually injecting a gelatin solution which is identical to the gelatin solution in step (1) into the embedding box until the groove body of the embedding box is fully filled; (3) sealing the embedding box and curing the gelatin solution in the embedding box, so as to obtain a solid embedding object which embeds the sample. After the sample embedding method provided by the invention is used for embedding the sample, a frozen section of the sample is easy to slice, is continuous and complete and has no holes; the sample embedding method has relatively great actual application value. The method provided by the invention is simple and feasible and can be used for highly efficiently obtaining the high-quality frozen section, is applied to imaging analysis of metabolomics and has low technical cost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a sample embedding method, which belongs to the field of biotechnology. Background technique [0002] Metabolomics is an emerging systematic discipline after genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics, which mainly studies all small-molecular-weight metabolites of substrates or products of various metabolic pathways after organisms are stimulated or disturbed by the outside world. The study of the changing situation in time and space, and looking for the relative relationship between metabolites and physiological and pathological changes, is an integral part of systems biology. The isolation and identification of important metabolites that can be used as biomarkers is of great significance for understanding biological metabolic pathways. [0003] Biomarkers generally refer to signals that can be used to objectively measure and evaluate abnormal changes in organisms at the molecular, cellular, individual or population levels due ...
