Abstract

The invention discloses a high hardness plastic mechanical arm and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises following steps: (1) mixing glass fibers with a silane coupling agentto obtain modified glass fibers; (2) mixing polyamide plastic, modified glass fibers, wollastonite fibers, mica powder, and a lubricating agent, and smelting the mixture to obtain a mixture (M1); (3)extruding and granulating the mixture (M1) to obtain particles; and (4) fusing the particles, injecting the fused particles into a mould, carrying out shaping under a constant pressure, and cooling and moulding to obtain the high hardness plastic mechanical arm. The glass fibers are modified by a silane coupling agent; then polyamide plastic, modified glass fibers, wollastonite fibers, mica powder, and a lubricating agent are mixed and smelted; then the mixture is extruded, granulated, and fused; and then the mixture is injected into a mould, shaped under a constant pressure, cooled, and moulded. The obtained mechanical arm has higher hardness and can meet the use requirements.
