MiR-138-5p and SIRT1 3'UTR regions are complementarily combined to inhibit reduction of SIRT1 expression. The miR-138-5p plays an important role in autophagy fluxes under hypoxia of pancreatic cancer cells, expression of SIRT1 is regulated through direct targeting to inhibit hypoxia-induced autophagy, and apoptosis of the panc-1 pancreatic cancer cells is promoted at the same time.
