Abstract

The invention discloses a polypropylene-nanometer attapulgite composite material and a preparation method thereof. The material includes the following components: 58-90 parts of polypropylene, 4-10 parts of nanometer attapulgite, 1-8 parts of a compatibilizer, and 0.1-2 parts of a lubricant. The preparation method includes the following steps: a) putting 20 wt%-30 wt% of the polypropylene of the formula, all the nanometer attapulgite, all the compatilizer, all the lubricant and 35 wt%-45 wt% of an antioxidant of the formula into an internal mixer for mixing, and carrying out extrusion granulation by using a single screw extruder with a length-diameter ratio of 20:1 to obtain nanometer attapulgite master batches; and b) melting, mixing and dispersing the residual 70 wt%-80 wt% of the polypropylene, the nanometer attapulgite master batches obtained in the step a), a toughening agent and the residual 55 wt%-65 wt% of the antioxidant in a double screw extruder with a length-diameter ratioof 40:1, and carrying out extrusion granulation to obtain the polypropylene-nanometer attapulgite composite material.
