Abstract

The invention discloses a hydrophobic modification method of melamine sponge and a product and application thereof, and the hydrophobic modification method comprises the following steps: immersing themelamine sponge in a sodium alginate solution, taking out, freeze-drying, and performing zirconium ion crosslinking to obtain modified melamine sponge. The hydrophobic modification method of the melamine sponge is simple, inexpensive, environmentally friendly, and easy to operate and can be mass-produced; the modified melamine sponge has high lipophilic-hydrophobic property and can be used for oil-water separation application. The modified melamine sponge can be used as an oil adsorbent or as an oil-water separation material capable of absorbing water surface (bottom) oil. The modified melamine sponge has good mechanical properties; modified sodium alginate sponge has high plasticity, can be prepared into the modified melamine sponge of different sizes and shapes as needed, can also be coated on other porous carriers such as nylon filter nets, and is suitable for a variety of occasions.
