WS6 refers to anti-diabetic medicine glibenclamide, sodium orthovanadate and an active compound capable of promoting pancreatic beta cell proliferation. WS6 has cytotoxicity on the trabecular meshwork cells and inhibits actin formation of the trabecular meshwork cells. The influence of WS6 has the beneficialeffect that the fact that WS6 can remarkably inhibit actin formation, caused by TRPV4 agonist GSK101, of the trabecular meshwork cells is revealed. Intraocular pressure can be reduced, and the influence of WS6 has potential treatment significance in glaucoma caused by increase of intraocular pressure.
