Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for eliminating an interference background signal during the sample feeding of a mass spectrometer. According to the method, mixed gas sequentially flows through adsorbing materials under a pressurization condition, and then, the main interference backgrounds such as water, nitrogen and oxygen are removed. The device comprises a cavity with a piston pushrod, wherein the cavity is filled with the adsorbing materials, a mass spectrometer is connected to a bottom opening, and a side surface opening is used for feeding a sample. A high-pressure environment is generated in the cavity by virtue of the piston, interference background substances are adsorbed with the adsorbing materials under a high pressure condition, meanwhile, the feeding amount of the sample can be increased, and the feeding efficiency is improved. Therefore, the interference backgrounds can be effectively reduced, and the sample signal strength is enhanced; and the feeding efficiency of the sample can be improved under the high pressure condition. Meanwhile, the device can be applied to multiple detection systems and instruments such as mass spectrometers ionic migration spectrometers and has very wide use prospects.
