According to the method, a discrete element model corresponding to an experiment is built by combining a compression experiment of a limestone material; a model parameter determination problem is transformed into an optimization problem; a minimum error between an experimenttest response and a discrete element numerical calculation response is taken as an objective function; a real physical model is replaced with an approximate model; reverse calculation is carried out by adopting a global optimization-based intelligent algorithm; and a group of optimal discrete element model parameters of the limestone material are quickly obtained.
