Abstract

The invention discloses a waterborne ultraviolet (UV) coating and a preparation method thereof. The waterborne UV coating is prepared from the following components by mass percent: 25-35% of polyacrylate, 20-30% of waterborne epoxy resin, 5-10% of waterborne polyurethane, 10-15% of deionized water, 5-15% of a photoinitiator, 2-5% of a dispersing agent and 2-10% of a leveling agent. The waterborneUV coating provided by the invention is fast in curing speed in the initial stage of an ultraviolet curing stage. Triethanolamine is not only used as the dispersing agent, but also can be taken as a curing agent for the waterborne polyurethane; polyurethane bonds formed by means of the curing of the waterborne polyurethane can also promote cross-linking and curing of the waterborne epoxy resin, sothat the properties of the coating are further improved; the waterborne epoxy resin and waterborne polyurethane are added into the coating, so that the coating is both flexible and tough, and achieves an excellent effect when being applied to the surface coating of artificial leather.
