This application provides a tubing thread
sealant for shallow
coalbed methane wells, its preparation method, and its application, belonging to the field of oilfield development. The tubing thread
sealant comprises: component A, component B, and component C; wherein, by weight, component A includes the following chemical components: 41-61 parts of
polymer matrix, 15-23 parts of 5-methylthio-7-fluoro-1H-
indene, and 23-37 parts of excipients; component B includes the following chemical components by weight: 80-90 parts of
epoxy curing agent and 10-25 parts of
epoxy curing accelerator; and component C is an additive. In component A, a
polymer matrix is used as the matrix. By introducing molecularly designed active substances containing
fluorine and
sulfur elements, such as 5-methylthio-7-fluoro-1H-
indene, the material combines the
weather resistance and
toughness of rubber while maintaining stable performance at high temperatures, making it less prone to deformation or failure.
