Problems solved by technology

[0005] However, especially in an alternating-pole type rotor in which a plurality of magnet insertion holes are provided in the rotor core and permanent magnets are inserted into each of the plurality of magnet insertion holes, the inductance of the magnetic poles and salient poles is different because The unbalanced inductance has the problem of increased vibration and noise

Embodiment approach

[0033] figure 1 It is a side sectional view of the motor which concerns on embodiment of this invention. figure 1 The illustrated motor 100 includes a molded stator 10 , a rotor 20 , and a metal bracket 30 attached to one end portion of the molded stator 10 in the axial direction. The motor 100 is, for example, a brushless DC motor that has permanent magnets on the rotor 20 and is driven by an inverter. The rotor 20 is of the inner magnet type and of the alternating pole type.

[0034] The molded stator 10 includes a stator 40 and a molded resin 50 covering the stator 40 , and the axial direction of the molded stator 10 coincides with the axial direction of the shaft 23 of the rotor 20 . In addition, the details will be explained sequentially, in figure 1 In the figure, as the constituent elements of the stator 40, a stator core 41, a coil 42 wound on the stator core 41, an insulating portion 43 provided on the stator core 41, and a neutral point terminal provided on the in...

Abstract

An electric motor 100 is provided with a ring-shaped stator 40, and a consequent pole rotor 20 having a ring-shaped rotor core disposed inside the stator 40 and a plurality of permanent magnets disposed inside the rotor core and arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotor core, wherein the stator 40 is covered with an unsaturated polyester resin. This makes it possible that the electricmotor 100 is reduced in cost, vibration, and noise, so that it is possible to reduce the use amount of permanent magnets 11 and the processing cost thereof as compared with when all magnetic poles are formed by the permanent magnets 11.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an electric motor provided with an alternating pole rotor, and an air conditioner provided with the electric motor. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, in order to improve the energy saving performance of an air conditioner, a rare earth magnet having a high energy density such as a neodymium sintered magnet is generally used as a permanent magnet of a motor mounted in a compressor of the air conditioner. Also, a motor using neodymium sintered magnets has been developed for fans of air conditioners. Since such a permanent magnet contains precious rare earth elements, the cost is relatively high. Therefore, there is a strong demand for reducing the amount of permanent magnets used and processing costs, and reducing costs. [0003] A permanent magnet is usually processed into a predetermined shape by cutting a block-shaped block. Therefore, as the number of permanent magnets used in the motor increases, the p...
