The modified asphalt is prepared from the raw materials of matrix asphalt, waste rubber, kaliophilite, chitosan fiber, hexafluoropropylene, diethylene glycol distearate, trioctyl acetylcitrate and azodiisobutyronitrile, thereby making full use of the waste rubber, reducing pollution and saving resources; the prepared modified asphalt is high in tensile performance and softening point, significantly improved in overall performance and relatively stable in performance at low temperature.
