Abstract

The present invention discloses a feed additive for preventing pig yellow fat meat. The feed additive is composed of the following components in mass percentages: 15-30% of vitamin C, 1-4% of sodium selenite, 5-15% of dibutylhydroxytoluene and the balance olive meal. The feed additive can effectively remove oxygen free radicals generated in feeds and pig bodies, improves body's antioxidant capacity, prevents lipid peroxidation and deposition of ceroid pigment in pig adipose tissues, and prevents occurrence of the yellow fat meat.
