[0035] The ethylene-propylene impact copolymer prepared in the Examples and Comparative Examples of the present invention was prepared using the Hypol method of Mitsui for preparing polypropylene, wherein two bulk reactors and two gas phase reactors are connected in series and can carry out a continuous polymerization process . A Ziegler-Natta catalyst with an internal donor of a phthalate group is used. Triethylaluminum was used as a co-catalyst, and dicyclopentyldimethoxysilane was used as a donor. The operating temperature and pressure of the first and second stage reactors (bulk reactors) are 68 to 75°C and 30 to 40 kg / cm, respectively 2 And 68 to 75℃ and 25 to 35kg / cm 2 . The operating temperature and pressure of the third and fourth stage reactors (gas phase reactors) are 75 to 82°C and 15 to 20 kg / cm, respectively 2 And 68 to 75℃ and 10 to 17kg / cm 2 . Propylene is separately injected into the first, second and third stage reactors to produce propylene homopolymer, or e...

Abstract

Provided is a polypropylene resin for an insulation layer of a power cable, which has excellent flexibility, heat distortion and low-temperature impact resistance and a high insulation breakdown strength to be suitably used for an insulation layer of an electrical power cable. In an exemplary embodiment, the polypropylene resin includes an ethylene-propylene impact copolymer consisting of a propylene homopolymer or an ethylene-propylene random copolymer (a), and ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber (b) polymerized therein, wherein the ethylene-propylene impact copolymer has a melting temperature (Tm) in a range of 145 DEG C to 170 DEG C, the content of a rubber component, measured by the content of a solvent extract (xylene solubles, room temperature) in the ethylene-propylene impact copolymer, is in a range of 35 wt% to 55 wt%, and the rubber component has two glass transition temperatures (Tg) in ranges of -25 DEG C to -35 DEG C and -45 DEG C to -55 DEG C.

Description

[0001] cross reference [0002] This application claims the priority and rights of the Korean patent application with application number 10-2017-0129829 filed at the Korean Intellectual Property Office on October 11, 2017, and all the rights and interests obtained under 35U.SC119, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference Incorporated into this article. Technical field [0003] The present invention relates to polypropylene used for the insulation layer of power cables. More particularly, the present invention relates to non-crosslinked polypropylene having excellent mechanical properties and recyclability, and more particularly to polypropylene resin used for power cable insulators, which has excellent flexibility, heat deformation and low temperature Impact resistance and high insulation breakdown strength are suitable for the insulation layer of power cables. Background technique [0004] Common power cables include insulation layers usually made of cross-linke...
