Abstract

The invention relates to six triterpene saponin compounds with nerve cell protection activity, which relates to a medicine compound. The invention discloses the structures of six novel triterpene saponin compounds in alfalfa roots for the first time. According to the invention, six new triterpene saponin compounds are separated and obtained by researching chemical components of the alfalfa roots.In order to further study the biological activity of the novel compounds, a H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y nerve cell injury model is used to evaluate the nerve cell protection effect of the compounds. The results show that the six novel compounds have significant nerve cell protection effects and have obvious dose-effect relationships. The activity tracing technical means is adopted to separate and purifysix novel triterpene saponin compounds from alfalfa roots. The six novel compounds have good nerve cell protection effect for the H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y nerve cell injury, and have good application prospect in preparing drugs for resisting neurodegenerative diseases.
