Abstract

The invention discloses an offshore water depth measurement method and device based on a novel high-order dispersion relationship. Different from the traditional water depth measurement technology, the method comprises the following steps: obtaining a time-space sequence digital image or video image of a surface wave of a target sea area; performing maximum total coherence frequency band processing on the image so as to generate corresponding frequency and a wave number pair on each calculation point, and substituting the frequency and the wave number pair into a high-order dispersion relationship wave model; and outputting a water depth value of a target sea area via iterative computation.
