The method comprises: sending a calibration instruction to a controller of the LED spherical display screen, and the calibration instruction comprising a target color and target brightness, so that the controller controls each LED module of the LED spherical display screen towork according to the target color and the target brightness; comparing the actual color and the actual brightness of each detection area with the target color and the target brightness respectively,calculating to obtain a color adjustment value and a brightness adjustment value of each detection area, and sending the color adjustment value and the brightness adjustment value to a controller of the LED spherical display screen to adjust the color and the brightness of an LED module of each detection area. The automatic calibration of the color and the brightness of the LED spherical display screen are realized.
