Abstract

The invention relates to a denitrification method and a denitrification system for associated gas in an oil field. The method includes 1) cooling the associated gas to lower the temperature of the associated gas to a preset temperature; 2) bringing the cooled associated gas into contact with a light hydrocarbon solvent so that methane in the associated gas is dissolved into the solvent and discharging nitrogen-containing gas not dissolved into the solvent; 3) subjecting the solvent into which the methane is dissolved to flashing treatment to separate the methane from the solvent. The method and the system make a denitrification process simpler, and can efficiently remove nitrogen in the associated gas in an oil field.
