Embodiment Construction

[0060] figure 1 A particularly preferred embodiment of the device 1 for producing glass bottles according to the invention is shown schematically. Shown is a so-called master machine MM and a downstream so-called bottom machine BM with various processing positions, wherein a plurality of burners B1-B15 are arranged at specific processing positions. Both the bottom machine BM and the mother machine MM consist of a rotor part and a stator part, wherein the rotor parts rotate once during a production cycle around their own axis. In the transfer from the parent machine MM to the downstream bottom machine BM, a flange or bead with a sprue at the locally heated end of the glass tube is constructed by locally heating one end of the glass tube. Furthermore, while constructing the closed bottom, the locally heated end of the glass tube is cut off. The processing positions of the bottom machine BM, which are spaced apart from each other in space, are used for the further shaping of th...

Abstract

In a method for producing glass bottles with a flat base and an opposing filling opening, the base of the glass bottle is additionally molded at multiple machining positions. During the entire additional molding process of the base, a purge gas flow is generated in the interior of the glass bottles in order to reduce delamination effects using a purge gas which flows into or out of the glass bottle via the filling opening of the glass bottle centrally and out of or into the glass bottle via the filling opening eccentrically. A tube or a nozzle is used to blow or suction the purge gas. Different geometries and arrangements of the tube or the nozzle are disclosed, and a plurality of geometric constellations of the tube diameter and different mass flow settings are disclosed.

Description

[0001] This patent application claims priority from German Patent Application No. 10 2016 122 061.2 "Process for producing glass bottles with a low tendency to delamination under the action of a purge gas flow", filed on November 16, 2016, the entire content of which is expressly incorporated by reference Incorporated into this article. technical field [0002] The present invention relates to a method of producing glass bottles, in particular to a method of producing glass bottles with a low tendency to delamination under controlled conditions under the action of a sweeping air flow during the entire molding of the base of the glass bottle. Background technique [0003] Today, medical, pharmaceutical and chemical facilities demand glass bottles of the highest quality and finish due to ever-increasing quality and safety standards. Glass bottles are particularly required to have a very high chemical resistance in order to be able to ideally store their contents for a long per...
