The method comprises the following steps: preparing a cleaning liquid in a cleaning container, introducing the cleaning liquid from the first water inlet end of a first-stage membrane element, and discharging the cleaning liquid from the first water outlet end and the second water outlet end of the first-stage membrane element, wherein the discharged cleaning liquid flows into the cleaning container; introducing the cleaning liquid from the first water outlet end of the first-stage membrane element, anddischarging the cleaning liquid from the first water inlet end and the second water outlet end of the first-stage membrane element, wherein the discharged cleaning liquid flows into the cleaning container; and detecting parameter change of the discharged cleaning liquid until the parameter change of the cleaning liquid is within a threshold range. The technical solution provided by the invention avoids the situations that when a first-stage membrane element is cleaned in a single direction, one end of the membrane element is easy to block and off-line cleaning is needed, and the tail end portion of the first-stage membrane element which is easy to block can be cleaned on line; and the recycling of the cleaning liquid is realized, the usage amount of the cleaning liquid can be effectively saved, and the cleaning costs are reduced.
