Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method of graphene oxide, and belongs to the field of chemistry. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing experimental materials and instruments; (2) heating flake graphite in a tubular furnace under the protection of argon to obtain expanded graphite; (3) adding 7.7 g of the expanded graphite into a beaker, adding 900 mL of concentrated H2SO4, 100 mL of H3PO4 and 50 g of KMnO4, and performing stirring until the color of the obtained solution is green; (4) stirring the obtained mixture in a 50 DEG C water bath to make the color ofthe solution become brown from green; (5) pouring the brown solution into 1000 mL of ice water containing 100 mL of hydrogen peroxide after a reaction is finished, and performing stirring to make thesolution immediately become golden yellow; (6) standing the solution, pouring out the obtained supernatant, and centrifuging the obtained lower-layer solution; and (7) washing the centrifuged lower-layer solution until the pH value is 5, and collecting the obtained viscous product.
