Abstract

The invention discloses a fertilizer-reducing and effect-improving fertilizer application method for combined application of green manure and compost. The method comprises the following steps: (1) applying compost in soil in winter; (2) sowing leguminous green manure after application of the compost; (3) turning and pressing the leguminous green manure to the position under the soil of a plough layer in a full-bloom stage so as to allow the leguminous green manure to be decomposed; (4) applying a nitrogen-phosphorus base fertilizer in soil; (5) transplanting vegetable crops; and (6) topdressing a nitrogen fertilizer in the topdressing stage of the vegetable crops. According to the fertilizer application method, the green manure and the compost are combined for usage, so the usage amount ofa traditional chemical fertilizer is reduced, soil health is improved, and the leaching loss of NO3<->-N in soil is reduced by 28.01%; and meanwhile, the yield and quality of crops can be improved, the yield of the crops is increased by 31.35%, and the content of nitrate in the crops is reduced by 9.45%.
