The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparation of a PDMAhydrogel reinforcement material; (2) cutting and structural design of a hydrogel material; (3) modification treatment of an epoxy resin material; and (4) composite treatment of a cut hydrogel structure and an epoxy resin system. By means of high elasticity of the hydrogel material and through structural cutting and designing of the hydrogel material and compounding of the hydrogel material with modified epoxy resin, the prepared modified epoxy resin-based composite material combines the advantages of the hydrogel material and the epoxy resin material, and has not only high elasticity and self-repairing performance but also high strength and related mechanical properties.
