A black matrix of the color film substrate is used for shielding light which is emitted by the backlight module and can irradiate a thin film transistor unit. The black matrix on the color film substrate is used for shading, so that light emitted by the backlight module is prevented from irradiating the thin film transistor unit on the array substrate, the brightness difference and the sensitivity of the thin film transistor unit to light are reduced, and the variable-frequency display image quality can be improved; and a corresponding value of supplementary voltage is further increased according to different refresh rates, the voltage drop caused by electric leakageof the liquid crystal display panel during variable-frequency display is compensated, and the same brightness under different refresh rates is realized, so that the picture flicker is prevented during picture switching.
