[0195] A randomized, single-blind, crossover study examined the effects of isocaloric ketoester (KE) and dextrose beverages on hunger in healthy normal-weight participants (n = 15) ( Figure 1A ). An external Research Ethics Committee (14 / LO / 0288) approved the study, which was conducted at the University of Oxford in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Participants were healthy, aged 21-42 years, and had no history of major illnesses (anthropometric characteristics in Table 1). Participants provided written informed consent prior to enrollment. The order of drinks is randomized before starting.
