The invention provides a pneumatic-hydraulic composite hanging cylinder which comprises a cylinder block, a cylinder block piston and a piston rod, wherein the cylinder block piston is arranged in thecylinder block to form a first oil cavity and a rod cavity in the cylinder block; a one-way valve and a damper are arranged in the cylinder block piston side by side; the piston rod is fixedly connected with the side, far away from the first oil cavity, of the cylinder block piston and extends out of the rod cavity; a second oil cavity, a floating piston and a gas cavity are arranged in the piston rod; the floating piston is movably obstructed between the second oil cavity and the gas cavity; the damper allows the first oil cavity and the second oil cavity to communicate in two directions; and the one-way valve selectively allows the first oil cavity to communicate with the second oil cavity in one direction. According to the pneumatic-hydraulic composite hanging cylinder, pressure oil enters the second oil cavity from the first oil cavity through the damper and the one-way valve to realize the buffering role of the pneumatic-hydraulic composite hanging cylinder; and in addition, pressure oil also enters the second oil cavity from the second oil cavity through the damper, so that the damping role of the pneumatic-hydraulic composite hanging cylinder is realized.
