Abstract

The invention discloses a warm hydraulic forming process and device of a variable-section carbon fiber composite pipe. The warm hydraulic forming process comprises the steps of padding a layer of rubber pipe in an equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe; then, hooping the two end faces of the equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe and the rubber pipe by metal rings; then, putting the equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe containing the rubber pipe into a mould with a temperature control function and a variable-section cavity, heating the mould to softening the equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe, and plugging the two ends of the equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe; then, filling a hydraulic fluid into the equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe to bulge the equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe, and attaching the bulged equal-section carbon fiber composite pipe with the mould; and maintaining pressure, taking out the rubber pipe after cooling, and thus obtaining the variable-section carbon fiber composite pipe. The warm hydraulic forming process and the device can be used for obtaining some complex variable-section carbon fiber composite pipes which are difficult to form.
