The invention relates to a numerical control technology-based automatic crimping device for a split type ground wire of a power transmission line. The device comprises a first module which comprises an installation platform and an electrical box; a second module which comprises a lead screw module and a wire clamping mechanism; a third module which comprises a hydraulic system and a pressing clampbracket; and a fourth module which comprises a pressing clamp. The lead screw module and the wire clamping mechanism are installed on the installation platform, the pressing clamp is installed on thelead screw module in a sliding mode through a sliding block after being fixed to the pressing clamp bracket, the input end of the hydraulic system is connected to an electrical cabinet, and the output end of the hydraulic system is connected to the lead screw module and the pressing clamp bracket. Compared with the prior art, by means of a unique split type design, transition carrying can be facilitated, meanwhile, the damage probability in the transportation process is reduced, due to arrangement of the electrical box, the lead screw module and the hydraulic system, automatic crimping can beachieved, and the labor intensity of operators can be greatly relieved.
