Abstract

The invention relates to a rotational metering pump for an insulin patch. The rotational pump for a fluid metering system is provided. The rotational pump reciprocates and is reversed by a signal froma limit switch that is deflected by an actuator arm on a rotary sleeve of the pump system. The rotational pump includes a plunger and an optional plug which are formed by a two-shot injection moldingprocess, and includes a seal overmolded on a head of the plunger and the head of the optional plug.
