Abstract

A two or more concentrates for use in the preparation of medical devices, medical products or emergency gels. Concentrates of the present disclosure are configured to be added, sold, transported and stored in concentrated form to simplify transportation, reduce costs of transportation and storage, optimize storage space, minimize product costs, simplify use of products, fight against the risk of microbial contamination, and increase viscosity. During a new process of heating glycerol laurate and sorbic acid in propylene glycol, a unique preservative gel was found prior to cooling to form the antimicrobial gel. This is used in a concentrate as a preservative.
