The present invention relates to a food contamination detector associated with a double bar code, given the trademark GILBAR.TM. by the owner of the present invention, that includes coded indicia used to identify the presence of conditions indicative of microbial contamination in food, including toxic contaminants, bacterial metabolites, and other microbial secretions. Of the two bar code symbols associated with the food contamination detector, the first identifies the food product in terms of the type of food, the quantity, the price and the like, while the second bar code symbol is designed to identify the presence of contaminants. The invention relates to a preparation method of an inorganic/organic hybridization antibacterial film. The preparation method mainly comprises the steps of: (1) preparing a nano-silver-loaded molecular sieve germicide with stronger stability by ion exchange and a chemical reduction method; and preparing a molecular sieve/polymer hybridization antibacterial film loaded with nano-silver particles by a phase transformation film preparation process; and (2) taking N,N-dimethylformamide as a solvent and a reducing agent simultaneously, reducing silver ions to nano-silver serving as an antibacterial function body in a film casting liquid system in situ, and firmly loading the nano-silver in a polymer porous matrix material by a dispersion action and a coupling action of a coupling agent so as to form a nano-silver-loaded polymer porous film. The hybridization antibacterial film, provided by the invention, keeps excellent water flux, high retention rate and tough mechanical intensity, and has excellent antibacterial function, and can effectively solve the problems of loss of the silver ions of the silver-ion-loaded molecular sieve in the membrane filtration, loss of the nanometer inorganic particles in the polymer porous matrix, easy pollution of a separation film by microorganisms, and the like.

A microbe contamination detection system is described. The microbe contamination detection system alerts a user or other individual in the event of microbial contamination of the system. The signal graphic is revealed when an obscuring graphic reacts with the microbial contamination to change color and/or become at least substantially transparent. A method and apparatus for disinfecting the interior of pipelines and conduits, particularly water mains. Ozone is utilized as the disinfectant vehicle to neutralize microbial contamination of the conduit. An ozone generation system includes a venturi injector for introducing ozone into pressurized water to provide a treating solution that is introduced into and that flows along a predetermined length of the conduit to be treated. The ozone concentration is regulated to maintain an ozone residual at the conduit outlet of about 0.2 mg/L to about 0.3 mg/L for a time sufficient to assure the desired level of disinfection of the conduit interior.
