Abstract

The present invention provides a devolatilization system for high viscosity fluid. The system comprises: an atomization separator (1) with a vertical tank (1a), wherein the tank has a chamber (2); an atomizing nozzle (3) which is arranged at the lower part of the chamber, wherein the atomizing nozzle is a two-phase flow nozzle, and the high-viscosity fluid to be devolatilized and high-speed gas from a gas source (30) interact in the atomizing nozzle to be atomized, so that the high-viscosity fluid to be devolatilized is separated to form atomized liquid drops and volatile components through the atomizing nozzle; a demister (4) which is arranged at the upper part of the chamber, wherein atomized liquid drops pass through the demister upwards under the action of drag force of conveyed gas and are gathered and condensed by the demister to form devolatilized high-viscosity fluid; a liquid collector (5) which is arranged below the demister and is used for collecting the devolatilized high-viscosity fluid from the demister; and a booster pump (6) which is used for feeding the high viscosity fluid to be devolatilized into the atomizing nozzle. The invention also provides a method for devolatilizing the high-viscosity fluid by using the devolatilization system.
