Abstract

The invention provides an encrypted image reversible information hiding method based on elastic selection and run length coding. For an image owner, block scrambling and block-level flow encryption are carried out on an original image, and an encrypted image is generated and sent to an information hider. For an information hiding person, firstly, adjacent pixel prediction is carried out based on an encrypted image block, and a prediction error is obtained; secondly, the prediction error bit sequence of the prediction pixels is rearranged, and a rearranged prediction error binary stream is generated; thirdly, elastic compression is performed on the prediction error binary stream by using run length coding and vacating a redundant space; and finally, secret information is encrypted by using the hidden secret key and the secret information is embedded into the vacated redundant space to obtain a secret-containing image.
