Embodiment 1

[0104] As CNF, an aqueous dispersion of CNF with carboxyl groups introduced (CNF 2.5% by mass, trade name "Rheocrysta", manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) was prepared, and as a cellulose derivative, sodium carboxymethylcellulose (commercial name "Cellogen BSH-6", manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.). Hereinafter, sodium carboxymethylcellulose is also referred to as CMC-Na. CMC-Na and ion-exchanged water were mixed in an aqueous dispersion of CNF to prepare a mixed solution of CNF and CMC-Na. The CNF content and the cellulose derivative content in this mixed solution were each 0.4% by mass. Next, apply about 50 mL of the mixed solution evenly on a metal plate with a thickness of 280 mm × 200 mm and a thickness of 20 mm, dry it in an electric drying oven set at 105 ° C for about 5 hours, and then place it at room temperature for about 30 minutes. A film-like dried product was formed on the above plate. The obtained film-like dried prod...

Embodiment 2 and 3、 and comparative example 1 and 2

[0106] A water absorbent composition was prepared by the method similar to Example 1 except having used CMC-Na which differed in the viscosity of 25 degreeC of 1 mass % aqueous solution. Specifically, the following substances were used.

Embodiment 2

[0107] Example 2: Trade name "Cellogen BSH-12", manufactured by Daiichi Kogyo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Abstract

The present invention relates to: a water-absorbing composition comprising cellulose nanofibers and one or more cellulose derivatives; and a method for producing the water-absorbing composition. A 1 mass% aqueous solution of the cellulose derivatives has a viscosity at 25DEG C of 1,000 mPa.s or higher, and the cellulose derivatives have a degree of etherification of less than 0.9. The cellulose derivatives are preferably at least one compound selected from the group consisting of carboxymethyl cellulose, carboxyethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose salts, and carboxyethyl cellulose salts, more preferably a carboxymethyl cellulose salt, even more preferably sodium carboxymethyl cellulose.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a water-absorbent composition and a method for producing the same. Background technique [0002] Cellulose nanofibers are fine fibers obtained from pulp or the like, and are known as raw materials that place little burden on the environment during production or disposal. Cellulose nanofibers have high hydrophilicity and excellent viscosity-increasing properties, and are expected to be used in a wide range of fields such as food, medical products, and coatings. However, cellulose nanofibers in a dry state have low dispersibility in water due to their high cohesive force. As a technique for solving such a problem, Patent Document 1 describes a dry solid product containing a predetermined amount of a water-soluble polymer relative to anionically modified cellulose nanofibers. [0003] prior art literature [0004] patent documents [0005] Patent Document 1: Specification of US Patent Application Publication No. 2016 / 3...
