The method comprises the following steps: controlling a transmitter in a pre-arranged field source to transmit a current signal through two electrodes; obtaining horizontal and vertical magnetic field signals of an observation point at the observation point; obtaining the apparent resistivity according to the position relation between the observation point and the two electrodes and the horizontal and vertical magnetic field signals, wherein the apparent resistivity is the basis for calculating stratum information.
