The invention relates to an evaluation
screening method and an evaluation operating process for
chlorine-containing disinfectants. The evaluation
screening method for
chlorine-containing disinfectants comprises the following steps of: adding
potassium iodide into a
chlorine-containing
disinfectant to be determined, so that the
potassium iodide is oxidized and
iodine is separated out; through taking
starch as an indicator, carrying out
titration by using a standard
sodium thiosulfate solution; and calculating the initial
chloride equivalent according to the consumption of the standard
sodium thiosulfate solution. In the process of determining, the
potassium iodide is directly added into the chlorine-containing
disinfectant to be determined, so that the potassium iodide is oxidized and
iodine is separated out, and the potassium iodide is not oxidized under the condition of adding an acid into the
disinfectant. The operating process of implementing the evaluation method comprises the steps of adding a plurality of KI
powder into a quantitative disinfectant to be determined, carrying out
titration by using standard
sodium thiosulfate, and calculating the initial
chloride equivalent according to the consumption of the standard
sodium thiosulfate. By using the evaluation
screening method and operating process disclosed by the invention, the initial
chloride equivalent of a disinfectant can be rapidly determined. The stability and storage capacity of a disinfectant and the initial reaction capacity (closely relevant to a spray disinfection method) of the disinfectant are evaluated by using the chlorine equivalent, thereby solving the problem of evaluation index
distortion caused by separately using available chlorine.
