Abstract

The invention discloses a new application of Desloratadine (DLT) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in preparation of drugs for treating neurodegenerative diseases related to dyskinesia. A large number of experiments show that DLT and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof can improve the dyskinesia state of SOD1-G93A model mice in behavioral experiments of a Rotard bar-rotating experiment, a gait monitoring experiment and a cage experiment, effectively delay the onset time of the SOD1-G93A model mice and prolong the life cycle of the SOD1-G93A model mice. DLT and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof can be used for treating the neurodegenerative diseases related to dyskinesia including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
