Embodiment 1

[0110] Samples 1 to 5 were formed from various percentages of the following substances: liquid crystal polymer (Liquid crystalline polymer, LCP), polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate (PCT), wollastonite fiber (Nyglos TM 4W), mica (C-4000), talc (Flextalc TM 815), ethylene methacrylic acid copolymer (EMAC TM SP 2260), boron nitride, the first epoxy resin (Araldite TM ECN 1299, epoxy resin 1), second epoxy resin (Epon TM 1009F, epoxy resin 2), black pigment, lubricant (Licowax TM PED 521) and various antioxidant stabilizers (AO 1010 and AO 126). The intrinsic viscosity of PCT polymer is 0.62. In sample 2, the LCP polymer (LCP 1) was formed from 79.3 mol.% HBA, 20 mol.% HNA and 0.7 mol.% TA (Tm = 325°C). In sample 3, the LCP polymer (LCP 2) was formed from 73 mol.% HBA and 27 mol.% HNA (Tm = 280°C). In sample 4, the LCP polymer (LCP 3) was formed from 60 mol.% HBA, 4.25 mol.% HNA, 17.875 mol.% BP and 17.875 mol.% TA (Tm = 360°C). Finally, in sample 5, the LCP polyme...

Embodiment 2

[0118] Samples 6 to 9 were formed from various percentages of LCP 2 as mentioned above, polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate (PCT), wollastonite fiber (Nyglos TM 4W), mica (C-4000), talc (Flextalc TM 815), ethylene methacrylic acid copolymer (EMAC TM SP 2260), boron nitride, the first epoxy resin (Araldite TM ECN 1299, epoxy resin 1), second epoxy resin (Epon TM 1009F, epoxy resin 2), black pigment, lubricant (Licowax TM PED521), ionic liquid (FC-4400) and various antioxidant stabilizers (AO 1010 and AO 126). The intrinsic viscosity of PCT polymer is 0.62. Compounding was performed using an 18-mm single-screw extruder. Parts Samples were injection molded into panels (60mm x 60mm).

Abstract

A camera module that includes a housing which which a lens module is positioned that contains one or more lenses and an actuator assembly that is configured to drive the lens module in an optical axis direction is provided. The actuator assembly includes a guide unit that is positioned between the housing and the lens module. The guide unit comprises a polymer composition that includes a polymer matrix containing an aromatic polymer, wherein the polymer composition exhibits a flexural modulus of about 7,000 MPa or more as determined in accordance with ISO Test No. 178:2010 at 23 DEG C and a Rockwell surface hardness of about 25 or more as determined in accordance with ASTM D785-08 (Scale M).

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application requires U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62 / 821,077, filed March 20, 2019, U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62 / 885,333, filed Aug. 12, 2019, and the filing date Claimant of U.S. Provisional Application No. 62 / 978,846, filed February 20, 2020, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference in their entirety. Background technique [0003] Camera modules (or components) are often used in mobile phones, laptop computers, digital cameras, digital video cameras, and more. Generally, a camera module includes a lens module and an image sensor for converting an image of an object into an electrical signal. The lens module may be disposed in the housing and include a lens barrel in which one or more lenses are disposed. The camera module may include an actuator assembly for optical image stabilization (OIS) to reduce resolution loss or blur caused by hand shake. The actuator as...
