Abstract

The invention discloses a data transmission method and device which are applied to a distributed database comprising a plurality of nodes, acceleration cards are arranged in at least two nodes, and high-speed interfaces of the acceleration cards are mutually connected to form a data transmission path. The method comprises the steps that a data request is generated according to a data acquisition operation or a data modification operation when the acceleration cards receive a database operation instruction which is issued by a CPU of a node and require to acquire target data; if the acceleration cards detect that the target data is hit in the cache according to the data request, the acceleration cards obtain the target data from the cache; otherwise, the acceleration cards send a data request message corresponding to the data request to a far-end destination node through a data transmission path, and obtain the target data based on a data packet returned from the destination node, thereby reducing the communication delay between the acceleration cards across the nodes.
