Abstract

The invention provides application of a PLK1 inhibitor in preparation of a medicine for relieving renal fibrosis. The protection effect of the PLK1 inhibitor on the renal interstitial fibrosis is realized. The PLK1 inhibitor inhibits activation of renal interstitial fibroblasts by inhibiting autophagic flow and inhibits partial-EMT of renal tubular epithelial cells, so that deposition of extracellular matrixes is reduced, and then renal fibrosis is relieved.
