Abstract

An accuracy positioning device for ultrasonic motor consists of a single chip computer system, an analog switching circuit, a signal converting circuit, control command interface, an input forconnecting the high frequency driving signal to the controller and its output end connected with the input end of high voltage power amplifier. The device is actually a controller with CPU which can control the functions of continuous run, one step run (step by step type) and stop for the ultrasonic motor through the external commands. The one step run is realized by counting the high frequency driving signal through the single chip computer system and controlling the analog switch circuit so the step anale with very high resolution rate produced by one step run ensures the high accuracy of positioning for the ultrasonic motor.
