Abstract

A method for differentiating feed forward of a stream and controlling active congestions applies a fixed length queue method to discriminate high speed stream by calculating the stream passing through the local place within in a period of time to get a high speed stream. When an active node detects a congestion, it processes it promptly by sending a control information packet to an upward node which enters into the state of actively filtering the high speed stream and a router entering into the state of actively filtering high speed stream increases process probability to the high speed stream flowing through to realize the control to congestions which has the advantage of short response time and differentiates different speeds of flows to increase process probability to high speed flows.
