The present invention provides a biophoton spectrum detection system and method. The biophoton spectrum detection system is characterized by adding a sub-photon system composed of slits and a grating on the basis of an ultraweak biophoton imaging system. The grating is an optical element composed of a lot of parallel slits of equal widths and equal intervals, and enables the light to generate chromatic dispersion by utilizing the multi-slit diffraction principle.
