A special cultivation device for
selenium-enriched sprouts, belonging to the technical field of soilless cultivation devices, addresses the problems of excessive roots extending beyond the basket during
hydroponics, which can easily disperse nutrients and impair
water circulation, affecting the
normal growth of seedlings inside the basket. Furthermore, roots can clog the gaps in the
seedling tubes, also hindering
seedling growth and development. The invention includes a main frame and a
water supply tank fixed in the middle of the main frame's surface. Several sets of hydroponic tubes are equidistantly and parallelly fixed above the main frame. This invention can
cut off excessively grown roots extending beyond the
seedling basket, keeping the main growing roots inside the basket. This ensures the distribution of nutrients for sprout growth and prevents excessive
root growth from obstructing the effective flow of water within the hydroponic tubes. It also prevents outward-extending roots from entangled with the roots of adjacent seedling baskets, thus avoiding damage to the sprouts during subsequent trimming.
