The foaming agent comprises the following components: 1) a first compound mixture (M1) containing organic secondary amine salt compounds having a general formula (I) which is A<->[B<+>]p, wherein the B<+> is a cation of organic secondary amine B with +1 valence and theA<-> is CO<3><2->, HCO<3><-> or a combination of the CO<3><2-> and HCO<3><->; and 2) a second compound mixture (M2) containing N-monohydroxypropyl-ammonium carbonate compounds having a general formula(II) which is (RN<+>H3)(N<+>H4)CO<3><2-> and N,N'-bis(hydroxypropyl)-ammonium carbonate compounds having a general formula (III) which is (RN<+>H3)2CO<3><2->, wherein the R is a hydroxypropyl group,and a molar ratio of the compounds of the formula (II) to the compounds of the formula (III) is 1:0 to 1:1.0. The foaming agent is suitable for the preparation of polyurethane spray foam materials.
