This invention discloses a channel
equalization method for an SC-IFDMA
system, comprising the following steps: transforming the received data of the SC-IFDMA
system to the
frequency domain; obtaining
pilot symbols and data symbols according to the
system frame structure; estimating the current
signal-to-
noise ratio (SNR) and
current channel characteristics based on the
pilot symbols to obtain estimated SNR and channel
estimation parameters; calculating
channel equalizer coefficients based on the estimated SNR and channel
estimation parameters; passing the data symbols through the
channel equalizer, setting the number of iterations, and iteratively equalizing the data symbols using the
channel equalizer coefficients; transforming the equalized data symbols to the
time domain and making a decision; determining whether the current number of iterations is the set number; if the set number is reached, outputting the current data symbol as the final iterative
equalization result. The method disclosed in this invention improves
equalization performance while keeping most of the
processing in the
frequency domain, reducing the complexity of
signal processing.
